The staff at the World of Discovery is working with two local terrarium suppliers to design new terrariums for snakes, bearded dragons, and turtles that allow for proper heating, lighting, humidity, and UVB; and are more cost effective than those currently on the market. As we make progress you will see some of the terrariums on exhibit and in the classroom.
Our leadership will be seeking funding to purchase many of the newly designed enclosures to house our rescued animals and new exhibits.
